Elaia, a leading company in sustainable agri-food production, took part in Agribusiness 2025, a key event for the industry held at CaixaBank’s headquarters in Valencia, bringing together over 130 professionals and executives from across Spain. Elaia was represented by its CEO, Ramón Rivera, who joined one of the event’s roundtable discussions.
Organized by the Association for the Progress of Management (APD) in collaboration with CaixaBank, Garrigues, and Grupo Corporativo Caliche, the meeting provided a space for reflection and discussion on the major challenges facing the agri-food sector, especially in a context marked by global uncertainty, climate change, digital transformation, and evolving regulations.
Throughout the day, key topics such as sustainability across the value chain, the application of new technologies, efficient logistics management, and the impact of Spain’s new food loss and waste prevention law were addressed. The need to reinforce the sector’s resilience in the face of extreme weather and market pressures was also a central theme.
Ramón Rivera’s contribution emphasized Elaia’s commitment to innovation, operational efficiency, and adaptation to a constantly evolving regulatory and technological landscape. The company’s presence underscored its dedication to professionalizing the sector and driving continuous improvement based on environmental and social responsibility.
The event brought together top industry players, as well as representatives from the legal, financial, and logistics sectors, fostering collaboration and knowledge sharing. Agribusiness 2025 once again proved to be a valuable platform for networking and strategic dialogue to build a more competitive and sustainable agri-food model.
With its participation, Elaia reinforces its role as a committed actor in the transformation of the agri-food sector, with a vision rooted in innovation, operational excellence, and sustainability.
